Herbs are a great addition to our food. They have qualities discovered by our ancestors over hundreds of years. These people who went before us knew what plants were good for them and those they loved. They knew what plants could make them better when they were sick. They did not have big hospitals, or doctors to run to each time they didn't feel well. They had to look after themselves and they turned to Nature for help. The plants in Nature were free for the taking.
Here, this young chef who is close to my heart introduces us to Lavender. He is a great young guy, and I must say, I gave him a little help along the way with his love of cooking and Nature.
