Symptoms of Illness
Think how symptoms can relate to your illness. Your group of symptoms for an illness will be different from someone else's group of symptoms for a similar illness. Illness have been grouped together generally and given a name to help doctors and the general population have an idea of the major symptoms they are dealing with. However each person with this major group of symptoms will have variations of the general symptoms.
Let's take a cough as a general symptom. Is your cough in the morning, at midday, before bed, when you lie down, as you wake up or after eating? Does it come on after exercise or when you are sitting in a chair?
Is your cough a dry cough, a cough with lots of mucous, a rattly cough or a tight cough? Is your cough short and hacking or persistent and in long bouts?
Homeopathy will take all these symptoms into account and find a remedy that is better for you. Homeopathy is not a 'One medicine fits all' type of service. It is specific to your symptoms.
Following is a video by Dana Ullman, famous Homeopath in the US talking about homeopathy. Listen to Dana as he explains.
