Homeopathy can help with acute grief or shock.
Situations can occur suddenly throughout our life that bring on a stage of acute grief or shock. We are left feeling our emotions are in shreds.
This grief can be brought on by a loved one dying, a car accident, being diagnosed with a severe illness, losing our job, or a major catastrophe where we are affected as in fires, tornados or flooding.
In times like these we need some extra help emotionally. We are fortunate that there are natural remedies that can help.
The energy of certain flowers or trees has been found to be of great help.
Rescue Remedy, a mixture of these essences or remedies can help allay the shock. It comes in different forms today. Rescue Remedy comes in a little dropper bottle from which we take a few drops under our tongue or in a glass of water, sipping it as needed. It also comes in pastilles and a spray and can sometimes be found in pilules similar to homeopathy pilules. A pilule is a little pill.
Survival Remedy is a different form of liquid energy. It is made from a synergy of flowers and crystals and has a profound effect on settling the emotions.
Ignatia is a homeopathic remedy that is a quick fix when we are in the turmoil of acute grief. A few pilules or drops taken every few hours for a few days can settle us down, bringing us back to equilibrium so that we can deal with the situation.
Arnica is a remedy that deals with shock, both physical and mental. It can help settle the emotions. If there is physical trauma, it can bring back blood flow to the area, helping to relieve bruising. Arnica also comes in herbal liquid.
Nat mur is a homeopathic remedy for grief that has turned into long term, deep seated grief.
It is a good idea to keep your favourite remedy readily accessible whether it is in your bag, the car, the bathroom cupboard or by the bed. So long as you know where to access it, it will be there when you need it.
