![]() Co-enzyme Q10 (CoQ10) is found in our cells. It is the fuel we need to make energy. Without enough CoQ10 we get tired and exhausted. Our energy is made in the mitochondria, little centres in our cells that are busily making energy for our body to keep going. People with CFS have very low energy. Studies have been conducted about the effects of CoQ10 in people with different illnesses. Fibromyalgia Fibromyalgia (FM) is similar to CFS. The study found benefits when the people with FM took supplements of CoQ10. There was a significant reduction of symptoms.
It was found that taking black pepper along with the CoQ10 increased the absorption rate of CoQ10. Supplementing CoQ10 Levels supplemented in this study were 300mg CoQ10 daily. This was found to be safe and suitable supplement for many patients. Migraines In the study it was found that CoQ10 also eased migraines in some people. They took it at the rate of 200-300mg daily. It needed to be taken for 3 months before benefits were noticed. If you are deficient in CoQ10, reserves have to be built up. The mitochondria in the cells need the fuel to make energy. When the cells are firing correctly, other areas in your body will start to come into balance. CoQ10 and Aging Older people have less energy than younger people.
