Jonathan Wright MD says most medicine used for asthma causes side effects. Even with modern medicine, many people still have bad asthma or low level of breathing difficulties.
When having an attack, muscles around the airways tighten up and less air gets in. Inflammation increases, airways become swollen and narrow and it gets harder to breathe. The person feels they are suffocating. In severe cases not enough oxygen gets to vital organs. You can die from asthma. 4000-5000 people die from it each year. For 7000 more people (in the US), it is a contributing factor towards their death.
Asthma is a chronic disease affecting the pathways that carry air in and out of the lungs. The airways become inflamed and sensitive to substances in the air, food or environment. It is an immunological problem. The immune system overreacts and leads to inflammation in the lungs and narrowing of air passages.
Allergies and asthma are inflammatory disorders. Eat a diet high in natural anti inflammatory foods, lots of veggies and some fruit.
Quercetin helps with asthma. The ‘Nutrition in Cancer ‘ journal called quercetin ‘the most important flavonoid ‘. It is a powerful anti inflammatory. It helps calm allergies and asthma. It is found in onions, apples, berries, tea, red wine and supplements. Polyphenols are in fruits and vegetables. Flavonoids are a class of polyphenols.
Quercetin has a unique molecular structure that impacts the immune system and reacts against cancer cells. It Is recommended by David Neiman PhD.

*Quercetin stabilises the mast cells that puts out histamine.
