How Far Does EMR Extend?
Generally speaking, electro magnetic frequencies dissipate the further they travel, that is, they disappear or get weaker. By about 1 to 1.2mts (3-4 ft) away from the source of the frequencies, the area is clear. There is a much greater need for a longer space from a transformer on a power pole or electricity station than there is from a microwave in your home.
Ways to Help Ourselves
You are the best person to help yourself. You know where you are in relation to electrical equipment in your home or work place.
The best method is to stay away from the electromagnetic frequencies if possible. Rearrange furniture so that you do not sit too close to these objects.
Stand back from the microwave when it is working.
Keep your head away from the rangehood above the stovetop, especially when the fan is on.
Do not keep your cell phone within 1 metre of your head in the bedroom.
Do not sleep against a wall when the power box for the house is on the other side of that wall.
Remember that electro magnetic frequencies - EMFs - travel through walls.

Do you sit or sleep in an area that is high in EMR?
Electro magnetic radiation is EVERYWHERE in our modern society. It abounds in our homes, our offices, our work places. It abounds where we walk in the cities and gets worse the higher up you go in tall buildings.
Where can we find EMR in our homes?
EMRs are emitted from computer boxes, electric motors, telephones, computer screens, microwave ovens, electricity meter boxes. It is emitted by transformers you plug into the wall for your phone or those little boxes in the wire that you plug in your laptop with. It is emitted from televisions, dishwashers and from power points, and even from the electric wires in the wall of your house.
Can I Get Away from EMRs in My Home?
The good news is that electromagnetic frequencies diminish about 1 metre or 3 feet from the object that is emitting them. So, if you put something in the microwave oven, don't stand in front of it waiting for it to cook. Stand at least a metre back from it. My microwave is at my head height and I can actually feel the frequencies in my head is I stand too close.
Computer have invaded our lives. WE have welcomed them, and often allowed ourselves to become slaves to them. These computers give off EMR. If you have an older type screen that is up to five or six years old, it will most probably be giving off lots of radiation. If you can place it at least 1 metre away from you, most of the frequencies will not affect you.
EMRs Travel Through Walls
Its not enough that these frequencies affect many of us detrimentally when we are near them. They also travel through walls. I tell the story in by book, Allergies and Chronic Fatigue A Natural Approach, how my husband borrowed a metre to check out out house for EMFs. I was excitedly running around the house late one night checking out all the hot spots.
What we found was that these frequencies travel through walls. We had a computer on an outside wall - plaster inside and brick on the outside. The frequencies traveled through this wall and about one and a half metres out the other side. The frequencies coming from a monitor are worse from the back.
Next time you are standing at the supermarket checkout, stand away from the computer screens that the worker is using.
There are many other objects that give off electromagnetic lfrequencies. Next time I'll give some hints about Natural ways to avoid some of this radiation.
